Eclectic Electric served as lead Cloud Engineer tasked with moving the Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s primary website from a Microsoft IIS web server to a new host in the Azure Cloud. After the initial move, the Drupal 8 site was migrated to Drupal 9 and all software components were updated to their latest version.
Drupal best practices were used during the migration process. Alternate modules were selected where a Drupal 9 version of a module was not available. Several caching mechanisms were added to improve site performance and the user experience.
